The coordinated audit of VAT

Press Release – June 21, 2010

On June 14–18, 2010, experts from the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) and the Bundesrechnungshof (BRH) met in the SAO’s training centre in Přestavlky to discuss a conclusion of the coordinated audit of the administration of the Value Added Tax (auditing operation No. 09/11).

At the meeting, a report on the audit outcomes was drafted, which included a mutual statement of both the supreme audit institutions as well as a conclusion of audits within the field of the VAT administrations in the Czech Republic and in Germany. The attendees also came to agreement concerning the arrangements of the audit conclusion’s publishing and distribution.
