16.1.2009 - The supreme audit institutions of Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria and the Czech Republic conducted a coordinated audit of air and ozone layer protection and implementation of related international agreements in 2007 - 2008.
Report on implementation of the NATURA 2000 NETWORK in Europe
4.11.2008 - The joint audit operation entitled Implementation of the Natura 2000 System focused on the performance evaluation of tasks specified within the Council Directive 79/409/EEC on the conservation of wild birds, as amended, and Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, as amended, which form a network of protected sites across the European Union called Natura 2000. The supreme audit institutions of Austria, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Hungary, and the Czech Republic were participant in the audit. PDF File, 710 kB
Report on the Results of the Parallel Audit of the Administration of Value Added Tax in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany
4.8.2008 - The audits were performed by the Supreme Audit Offi ce, Czech Republic and by the German Bundesrechnungshof in mutual cooperation on the basis of an agreement concluded between the two audit institutions in 2006. The cooperation primarily concerned the review of selected commercial transactions between taxpayers from the Czech Republic and from the Federal Republic of Germany, use of information obtained via international cooperation between tax administrations and comparison of the VAT administration systems in the two countries. Report on the results of the international cooperation in excise duty administration audits between the Czech and the Slovak Republic in 2006
26.10.2007 - Parallel audits were chosen with respect to radical changes in the excise duty collection system as a result of the accession of the Czech and Slovak Republic into the EU internal market as of 1 May 2004. The functioning of the EU internal market requires free movement of goods, including excisable goods. The basic principle is to enable circulation of tax-free goods up to the date of their presentation for end use. The new legislation adopted in both countries enables movement of goods under tax supervision under the duty-suspension arrangement in accordance with the aforementioned principle. The system imposes high requirements on tax authorities and anticipates mutual cooperation of particular administrative authorities of the Member States in the fight against tax fraud. Joint Report on Parallel Audits of Expenditure on the Construction of the Motorway Prague – Dresden
26.6.2007 - This report informs about the conduct and the results of parallel audit missions regarding the funds spent on the construction of the motorway connecting Dresden and Prague (D 8 in the Czech Republic and the A 17 in Germany). The audit missions focused on the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the expenditure occurred. The parallel audits were performed by the BRH in Germany and NKÚ in the Czech Republic.
