4th meeting of the Implementation Team of the Strategic Goal 1

On the basis of the EUROSAI's Strategic Plan 2017-2023, according to which the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) chairs the team for the implementation of the Strategic Goal 1 - Professional Cooperation, the 4th meeting of the Implementation Team of the Strategic Goal 1 took place on 3 December 2020. The meeting was held by videoconference and the technical part was provided by the co-leaders of the Strategic Goal 1, representatives of the German Supreme Audit Institution.
The aim of the 4th meeting was to discuss the progress of the individual Strategic Goal 1 projects, the progress of the EUROSAI working groups, new information regarding EUROSAI and the XI EUROSAI Congress 2021. EUROSAI members leading project groups under the Strategic Goal 1 as well as the chairs of the EUROSAI working groups were invited to the event.
Representatives of the SAO informed about new developments in the Benchmarking Information Exchange Project (BIEP) and the EUROSAI databases project. Topics such as quality management, innovation in EUROSAI, COVID-19 or preparing for future risks and the climate crisis were also discussed. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Charles University in Prague and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology to share updates on the machine translation project intended for the XI.
