Study visit of the representatives of the Supreme Audit Institution of Romania

From 13 to 17 February 2023, the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) hosted a study visit of ten representatives of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Romania.
A rich professional programme was prepared for the participants of the study visit. At the request of SAI Romania, the presentations focused in particular on the audit process, the implementation of INTOSAI standards, the quality management system of audits and digitalization in audits. In addition to the above, topics such as visualisation and data or the mandate and mission of the SAO were also presented. The aim of the study visit was not only to present the SAO's activities in auditing, but also to strengthen the mutual cooperation between SAI Romania and the SAO and, last but not least, the mutual sharing of experience in the above-mentioned areas.
