EUROCONTROL – European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation

EUROCONTROL is a European international organisation founded in 1960. It is made up of 41 member states. The Czech Republic has been a member of EUROCONTROL since 1996. The headquarters of EUROCONTROL are located in Brussels.
The main objective of EUROCONTROL is to improve systems and procedures for the safe and seamless air traffic management across Europe. It also aims to further develop air transport while maintaining a high level of safety and striving to reduce costs.
Currently, the SAO has two representatives in the EUROCONTROL Audit Board.
