Mr Jan Kinšt and Mr Roman Procházka appointed as Members of the SAO Board

Press release – 17.1.2018

Members of the Chamber of Deputies elected two new Members of the SAO Board of the Office today. The nominated candidates were Mr Jan Kinšt with 139 votes, and Mr Roman Procházka, who received 129 votes. The SAO Board of the Office will be complete again, i.e. it will consist of seventeen members. "I am very glad that the new Chamber of Deputies appreciated Mr Kinšt's quality, expertise, and irreplaceable international experience. He is an expert who represented the Czech Republic at the European Court of Auditors for several years and who will be of great benefit to us", said the SAO President Miloslav Kala.

Both candidates will be sworn in by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, and then they will begin to work on audits. "Thanks to the fully assigned SAO Board of the Office, we will be able to carry out more audits a year. In the case of Mr Kinšt, it is also an advantage that, with regard to his professional background, he can immediately jump into the ongoing train and begin his first audit, "added Kala.
