Mr Radek Rychnovský was elected a new Member of the SAO Board

On Wednesday, September 13, the deputies elected Mr Radek Rychnovský a new Member of the SAO Board by secret ballot. 100 deputies out of 166, who were present at the election, voted for him. Mr Rychnovský still must take the oath to the President of the Chamber of Deputies.

"I am glad that the deputies approved my proposal and I believe that the knowledge and work experience of Mr Rychnovský will be beneficial for the SAO," commented Mr Miloslav Kala, the SAO President, on Mr Rychnovský´s election.

Forty-six-year-old Radek Rychnovský graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the University of Economics in Prague and, after graduating in 2001, he became an auditor of the SAO, where he worked until 2007.

Currently, he is the project and financial manager of the Project Office of the Vysočina Region, P.O., where he deals, among other things, with the introduction of electronic financial control and the administration of subsidy projects. He is also a representative of the Statutory City of Jihlava and the chairman of the Financial Committee of the Municipal Council.

In the SAO Board, Mr Rychnovský will replace Mr Jan Málek, who was elected the SAO Vice-President at the end of May.
