Presidents of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Visegrad Group countries exchanged their experiences in the field of public control during the COVID-19 pandemic

The President of the Supreme Audit Office, Marian Banaś, chaired the meeting of the Presidents of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Visegrad Group countries in Goławice on September 27th, 2021.

During the meeting, representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia exchanged their experiences in the field of public control during the COVID-19 pandemic, and also planned to continue intensive cooperation.

We are happy that we were able to meet in person for the first time after the breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting highlighted the importance of discussing the challenges together and sharing good practices.

Having in mind the common heritage and geography we were happy to find that the Supreme Audit Institutions of the Visegrad Group also had similar experiences regarding public audit and analysis during the COVID-19 pandemic.
