The deputies elected Mr Roman Sklenák as a member of the SAO

On 15 September 2021, the deputies elected Mr Roman Sklenák a new Member of the SAO. 84 deputies out of 155 present spoke in favour of his election. Mr Sklenák is still waiting for the oath to be sworn before the President of the Chamber of Deputies.

Mr Sklenák, 51, was born in Brno and graduated from the Faculty of Law and subsequently from the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University. He currently holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budgetary Control of the Chamber of Deputies. He was a member of this Committee from 2010 to 2013. In 2011 and 2012, he also chaired the Subcommittee on Audit over the Financial Management of Public Administration. From 2003 to 2010, he worked at the Brno regional office of the Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs, where he held, among other things, a leading position in the field of property management. Prior to that, he worked in the private sector.

Mr Sklenák is married and has four children.
