XI EUROSAI Congress in Prague
At its extraordinary meeting in November 2020, the EUROSAI Governing Board approved the proposal of the SAO President to divide the Congress into two parts.
The first part took place online on 14 and 15 April 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and focused on the necessary administrative matters arising from the EUROSAI Statutes. The Heads of the EUROSAI Governance Portfolios and EUROSAI Working Groups presented the results of their three-year work.
Important points of the meeting included the approval of the updated EUROSAI Financial Rules, the communication strategy of the organisation and the rules for the functioning of EUROSAI Working Groups and Governing Boards.
The Congress also officially confirmed the membership of the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of Kosovo in EUROSAI, elected the next EUROSAI Presidency - SAI Israel - and two new members to the EUROSAI Governing Board - SAI United Kingdom and SAI Lithuania.
The second part of the Congress took place in Prague on 22-24 May 2022 in the form of a conference. The remaining plenary sessions, workshops and marketplace were held during this in-person meeting.
