The Czech economy grew faster than the EU average last year. However, the national debt also increased significantly

In 2025, the economy of the Czech Republic grew faster than the EU average. Yet, at the same time, the national debt continued to rise. Česká ekonomika v roce 2025 rostla rychleji než průměr EU, zároveň se ale dál prohlubovalo zadlužení státu. Hrubý domácí produkt (HDP) vzrostl o 2,6 %, zatímco průměr ekonomiky EU činil 1,5 %. Nepodařilo se odstranit slabiny, které ohrožují budoucí konkurenceschopnost země. Ekonomický růst byl tažen především vyšší spotřebou domácností.
